Today I bring you photos i captured from a Chinatown photo walk with my good friend Anthony Consillio in Honolulu. Tony is a good friend, and an amazing photographer that motivates me to be a better photographer. He is dedicated to his craft and I feel confident in saying that each of his street photos is an exercise in patience and sticking to authentic moments. Anyways I'll let his photos due the talking @Consilliophotog

It's merely coincidental that my most recent post prior to this one also contained photos captured using the Ricoh GXR system. That said the camera is still a Joy to use.

So what have I been up to since my last post. Well the answer is work, school, parenthood, marriage (we just celebrated 9 years) and photography. I purchased a Leica M246 and sold it, an Epson R-D1 received the same treatment and also a X-Pro2. All were fine cameras but in the case of the Epson and Leica the price didn't justify the output. Currently I'm mainly shooting digital with the Lumix S1, Olympus 4/3 systems, and the Lumix GX7. Occassionaly I shoot digital with the Lumix GX7 and the Canon 5D classic.

On the film side, yes I said film, I'm shooting with the Mamiya C system, the Koni Omega systems (shotgun cocking noises), the Canon T90, and FT QL. On the table for repair is the Noblex PRO 6/ 150 E2 and a Agfa Isolette I.

Upcoming tinkering projects involve a Nikonos II, and also a project involving the film backs of the Koni Omega system. Laslty I purchased a 3D printer, printed a film holder for scanning and made a copy scan.

So, enough of my ramblings here are a few shots from a recent photo walk with Tony that I felt deserved to see the light of day. More photos from my trip to Honolulu are on the way soon.
